Hi, and welcome to the Patina Esprit blog!
This is a place where you can share stories, tips and information on what you do to stay healthy with other stay-at-home moms, and busy women. We all know that we should spend time working out, eating healthy, and stressing less, but, it's hard when you feel like you need at least two clones to get everything done during the day. Between spending time raising your family, working, and just being - there's often not much time left to do things that are important for YOU.
For example, how many times have each of us swore up and down that come Monday, we're going to set our alarm clocks earlier, so that we have time to get a workout in? Or that Monday's going to be the day when we're going to stop having ice cream every night after dinner? In reality, how many times has that golden Monday actually happened, or taking it a step further, lasted for more than a couple of days? The odds probably aren't that high.
So, my vision for this blog is to provide a forum for women just like you, who are dealing with similar issues, such as: being pulled in too many directions; running out of motivation; having a sinking sense of boredom with their routines; and wanting to have their cake and ice cream and eat it too.
I believe that small steps can lead to big changes. We all need a little support and motivation every now and then. I don't believe in a "silver bullet" or that a life of slurping on Slim Fast shakes and logging thousands of minutes on the treadmill are the answers. I want this blog to be a place where real ideas and solutions for real women are shared. We should enjoy life, be healthy, and be comfortable with who we are.
