All You Have to Do is Ask

We all know that we and all the people we know have to-do lists a mile long. It's always "go time" and yet, if a friend or family member asks us to help out, we're more than willing to do so because we care.

Well you know what? People are willing to help you achieve your health goals! I'm sure that you've told people about your workouts or your plan to eat healthier, or to make time for being fit; and you have people in your corner who want to see you succeed.

This week's challenge - 4 times this week ask for help/assistance with something you normally wouldn't. They can be big requests or small.  Some ideas include asking a friend for moral support, asking someone to join you on a walk, asking your spouse or kids to help out at home so that you can have a few minutes to fix a healthier meal, exercise or stretch; or if there's a health issue that's been on your mind, ask your doctor, trainer, coach, nutritionist, etc.

Gifts surround us all the time -- we just need to remember that in addition to giving, we have to also practice receiving them :)
